We have finally found ourselves a place to live in here in LA. Moved into a loft in the arts/industrial-district of downtown LA some days ago. And it’s perfect! I just love it. Spent a couple of hours in IKEA today for the third day running buying basically everything we need for little money. Back in Denmark we had our home filled with things from HAY. I really miss that shop over here and haven’t even been able to find a stockist. However, thank you Sweden for IKEA.

Alexander Wang showed a sporty yet chic SS12 collection in NY yesterday and overall I’m impressed. I love how he every season manages to renew the streetwear-look, which has become his kind-of-thing. For this collection Wang was inspired by Nascar, BMX and motocross and especially the flowerprinted and the studded looks are among my favourites. Not a fan of the shoes though… Click here to see the whole collection.

I’m a big fan of Amazing Space and two of my favorites are these little wonders. The Juicy Mandarin Sorbet Exfoliator is the best facial scrub I have ever tried and the Miracle Mask is really a miracle. It brightens the skin, minimizes lines, damages and dark spots on the skin and makes it more even. Also my skin can’t live without the Delicate Skin day/night cream and the Beauty Sleep Mask. They’re amazing (and smell amazing). I’m thinking about trying the Cool Cucumber Gel as well. It revitalizes, energizes and heals the skin and should be perfect after a sunny day. Sounds like the perfect LA skin saver.
I’m obsessing over Marni these days. The aw11 collection is so beautiful. I love the styling with the big earrings, the amazing pattern and the messy hair. I have been complaining about the lack of cool statement-necklaces from the high street, however what the high street doesn’t seem to have in cool necklaces it seems to have in earrings. I love these two. Yellow goes for Asos and disc and stone for Topshop.
I’m so happy to be featured in the latest issue of STYLE BY. I really like the magazine, which has got some great editorials, interviews, trendpages, style-journals, layout etc. The team is doing an amazing job and the magazine has really improved since its first issue.
