My COS project via Fashiolista

It’s no surprise that I find myself in COS a little too often… I love simple dressing and COS is the perfect place to stock up on minimal and classic pieces with beautiful detailing. Like the elasticated waist on this skirt or the pocket on the shirt – or is it actually a top when there’s no buttons? Either way, I love it.

Me today. I’ve said it before. When wearing something feminine I love to add something boyish – and the other way around. So when I decided to step out in these strappy Jimmy Choo heels this morning I knew a pair of black boyfriend-jeans would be the perfect match.

I’m leaving for the airport at 4am in the morning and haven’t started packing yet. Gah. See you in Stockholm!

A few behind-the-scenes shots from Friday’s shoot with Muuse magazine. I flew to Copenhagen Thursday afternoon, had dinner with Muuse and then met with the team at the train station in Copenhagen at 6am in the morning. We jumped on a train to Lund in Sweden and shot the images in the beautiful botanical gardens. It was such a great day and I can’t wait to see the images, when the magazine is out in August.

I got back to London Friday night, spend yesterday shopping with my boyfriend and today I’m preparing for next week, which will be a busy one. Monday is filled with meetings, Tuesday I’m going to Stockholm for another meeting and then to Copenhagen  for even more meetings and another shoot – this time as stylist). Busy bee.

Et par behind-the-scenes-billeder fra fredagens skydning med Muuse magazine. Jeg fløj til København torsdag eftermiddag, spiste middag med Muuse og mødtes fredag morgen kl 6 med teamet på Københavns Hovedbanegård. Herfra tog vi et tog til Lund i Sverige og skød billederne i den botaniske have. Det var virkelig smukt og jeg er spændt på at se resultatet, når magasinet udkommer i august.

Jeg kom tilbage til London fredag aften, brugte det meste af lørdag på at slappe af og shoppe med min mand og i dag er jeg i fuld gang med at forberede mig til næste uge, der også bliver travl. Mandag er fyldt med møder, tirsdag tager jeg til Stockholm og derfra videre til København til endnu flere møder og et andet shoot – denne gang som stylist. Busy bee.

…of year again. The time of year when I wish I was a millionaire. Or billionaire. Or just had a few lots of extra quid to spend. It’s S A L E. Experience has taught me to stock up on basics, so when sale shopping I look for staple pieces that last more than just a few seasons. A Swedish favourite of mine, Wakakuu, just launched its sale – and let me tell you, there’s plenty of Acne, 3.1 Phillip Lim, Each x Other, BLK DNM, Iro and Helmut Lang etc. to choose between. These six pieces are my favorites – no explanation needed.

Lately I have been flashing this bad boyy in my outfit-posts (here, here and here) and I thought it was about time to introduce you proper to my new (boyy)friend. I have had my eyes on the Boyy bags for a long time (we’re talking years) and I finally convinced myself that we are meant to be. Me and Boyy. Boyy and me. Forever inseparable.

My COS project via Fashiolista

One of the things I missed the most while living in Los Angeles was COS. I know it may sound silly, but before moving to the states I stopped by COS at least once a week – resulting in quite a need and a lot of COS in my wardrobe. Just call me a COS addict – I even got my mum to send me supplies once in a while. Now that I’m back in Europe COS is once again a part of my everyday (wardrobe) and I’m so happy to have been chosen as one of four COS Style Icons.

 A year ago I didn’t have any leather pants in my wardrobe – and now I’ve got leggings, shorts, biker pants, slouchy pants, track pants, cropped pants and now these, which are so classic and versatile. In other words leather pants have quickly become a staple piece in my wardrobe. I love how easy they are to dress up or down and teamed with heels and a pleated shirt with a cinched waist (for longer-looking legs) these pants are perfect for a day in the office as well as a night out.

Inspired by Alexander Wang, who’s behind one of my favourite collections this season, I stepped out in knee-long shorts, gladiator-sandals and a wire-detailed top this morning. I love the boy-meets-girl look and always add something feminine when dressed boyish – and the other way around. Knee-long shorts look great with heels and if you haven’t already got yourself a pair, go get them. They will be a huge trend in the Fall.

Back to work. Next week will be a busy one with meetings, a re-launch of Luelle (more about that tomorrow) and a very short trip to Copenhagen for a shoot. Happy Sunday!

Here’s what I was wearing Friday last week, when I changed London for the German countryside – and my flat for a castle. It didn’t take long for these sandals to become a favourite in my wardrobe – and let me tell you, they did just as good in the country as in the big city. When you can’t afford Céline and Birkenstock feels a little too comfy, these are the answer to your prayers.

Last week I spend three magical days with Zalando and 22 other european bloggers on Schloss Stülpe – the most beautiful castle outside Berlin. Three days with loads of fun, new friendships, fantastic food, partying and inspiring workshops with my favorite being a lecture by Li Edelkoort – one of the most renowned trend forecasters in the world. When I studied at London College of Fashion I took classes in trend forecasting and for years I dreamt of becoming one. If you ever wonder why some designers come up with the same ideas or colour palettes, Li Edelkoort is the answer. Fascinating, right?

Everything (but the weather) was perfect at the Zalando Summer House and boy, the party on Friday night was a night (and a setting) to remember. Balloons, flowers, pastel-coloured candy, creamy cakes and a dj, who knew that Justin Timberlake, Britney Spears and Michael Jackson is all it takes…

I sidste uge tilbragte jeg tre magiske dage med Zalando og 22 andre bloggere på Schloss Stülpe – det smukkeste slot udenfor Berlin. Tre dage med masser af sjov, nye venskaber, fantastisk mad, fest og inspirerende workshops, hvor min favorit var et foredrag af Li Edelkoort – en af verdens førende trend forecastere. Da jeg læste på London College of Fashion, tog jeg timer i lige præcis dette, og jeg drømte faktisk i mange år om at blive trend forecaster. Hvis du undrer dig over, hvorfor de største designere ofte kommer op med de samme tendenser eller farver, så er Li Edelkoort svaret. Fascinerende, ikk?

Alt (lige bortset fra vejret) var perfekt og oh boy, sommerfesten fredag aften var sjov. Med blomster, balloner, kager, pastelfarvet slik og ubeskriveligt smukke omgivelser var det som at træde ind i et Tim Walker fotografi. Nå ja, og så var er dj’en, der hurtigt fandt ud af, at Justin Timberlake, Britney Spears og Michael Jackson var alt der skulle til…
