There’s always so many things to do before a vacation – and launching a new website certainly doesn’t help on my stress levels. BUT I’m heading to Venice on Sunday and I cannot wait to get a break from London town. I’ll tell you much more about the Venice trip soon as it won’t be sightseeing and romance only so stay tuned. And please share all the tips and tricks you might have to the city as I haven’t been there for many years! It’s always good to know where to go for the best ice cream, the best dinner, the best view, the best beach, the secret spot… and did I mention outlet shopping?
Back to London and what I was wearing the other day as the outfit included some wardrobe staples – both by RAIINE. You’ve seen the top before and it’s one of those pieces I always throw on when I don’t want to think too much about what to wear. It just always works. So does the leather shorts, which I btw also have in pants (wearing them here). They’ve got the perfect slouchy fit and the leather is seriously butter soft. My next RAIINE purchase will be this leather jacket, which should hit stores within the next couple of weeks.
And speaking of RAIINE. If you are around Copenhagen between the 23rd and the 26th of July make sure to stop by the stock sale and save up to 75% on previous collections and samples. Click here for more details.
What a day! I haven’t been outside my flat – not even for 5 minutes and I feel like the most horrible dog mommy ever (thank god we’ve got a garden). The reason? LUELLE, which will (hopefully) re-launch tomorrow! I’ll let you know as soon as we’re live so stay tuned!
Yesterday, when I still thought I had plenty of time to finish things before the launch, I put on my finest (and most green) ensemble and paired the look with casual slip-ons to make it work for everyday – or in this case a relaxed Sunday.
I’ve been looking for some luxe track pants in this exact blue color for some time now, so you can probably imagine my excitement when I found this pair in Wishbone’s pop up store the other day. I actually wasn’t familiar with the brand until I walked into the store but they’ve got lots of great (and affordable) pieces – all with a perfectly relaxed feeling and simple cuts. I ended up getting the white blouse too – because that’s what happens when you shop for pants in a dress and need to see what the pants will look like with a nice top.
If you’re in London you should definitely pay the pop-up shop on 33 Brompton Road (close to Harrods) a visit – and make sure to do it before the end of July. And if you’re not around London take a look at Wishbone.co.uk. I think I need this striped dress.
A classic meets a classic meets another classic. I am of course talking about the boyfriend jeans, the striped top and the black heels – all staple pieces in my wardrobe and maybe in yours too? When wearing boyfriend jeans I love adding just a hint of colour – it makes the outfit stand out but also adds something feminine to it.
I’m super busy with work these days but what’s more exciting is that we are now only days from launching Luelle! I hope you’ve signed up for the newsletter already – and if not, make sure to do it.
We’ve all got a signature outfit – and I think this could be mine. A feminine skirt teamed with a boxy top (or sweater) is something I always feel comfortable wearing and you’ve probably seen me dressed like this a million times – both with heels, ankle boots and flats.
What’s your fail-safe signature look?
