I finally reached my due date but there’s still no sign of the baby. Trying to be patient, but trust me, at this stage it’s not that easy. I really can’t wait to meet the little man!
Anyhow, this is what I was wearing yesterday when heading to a meeting followed by yet another appointment at the mid-wife (hopefully the last one). The dress has become one of my favourite pieces in my wardrobe and when layered with a cropped top or sweater it can easily be used all year round. The only piece you haven’t seen before is the clutch, also by Baum und Pferdgarten, which I think has delivered one of the best collections this season. I honestly want everything and this clutch knows how to make your outfit stand out whether worn day or night.
I don’t think I’ve showed you this dress before, which is actually a bit surprising as I’ve been living in it all summer. And admitted, summer seemed like a distant memory today as I stepped outside. It was freezing. And of course bare legs didn’t help much… but you know how I feel about stockings. Though in this case it would for sure remove some of the focus from my super pale legs. Ouch. Anyhow, I’m now back inside enjoying a cup of hot chocolate.
However let’s not talk about what happened to summer but about the boots, which some of you may remember them from this post. They finally hit stores and I was happy to see that that colour in fact was a bit more grey then beige, and therefore more wearable according to me and my wardrobe. Plus they are comfortable, which is never a bad thing.
With only another week and a half till the baby is due, the waiting game has now started. I try not to stress but suddenly there’s so many things I want to get done before he arrives. Like looking through and arrange everything in the flat, from paperwork to furniture, flowers and even old pictures. And then there’s all the baby stuff… We’re still waiting for the stroller, the cot, the nursing table etc to arrive, so while the baby might be ready to come out, I’m not. However, I’m sure it’ll all work out the day he decides to meet the world, and getting things in the flat organised will probably be the last thing on my mind.
Since I didn’t get to take a proper picture of what I was wearing when celebrating my birthday the other day I put it all back on this morning – plus a pair of sunglasses now that the sun was shining. I love that the weather still allows bare legs as I’m not the biggest fan of stockings. The longer I can avoid wearing them, the better.
Now, lunchtime! And make sure to check back in tomorrow where I have a little giveaway for you…
I recently met up with the girls behind Covetique.com – the number one place to shop pre-owned luxury fashion at extremely good prices, and I’m so honoured to be fronting their very first #OneLessDress campaign. We shot the campaign two weeks ago and it just went live yesterday.
In short, I’ve been going through my entire wardrobe and selected 25 pieces that have now been put for sale at Covetique.com. Because don’t we all need #OneLessDress?
Click over to COVETIQUE to see the full feature, including an interview where I’m talking about some of the most treasured items in my closet and my biggest fashion-fail. Or to shop (some of) my wardrobe.
I’m trying to catch up with work all while preparing for the little one to arrive. He can actually be here anytime… However he will most likely wait for another few weeks, which is good as we are still waiting for the stroller, bed, nursing table etc. to be here. For those of you interested (and understands Danish) make sure to stop by Octobernine.dk – my blog for moms-to-be and all the new mommies where you’ll find shopping and beauty tips, interviews with some of the coolest ladies I know and pretty much everything that crosses my mind as pregnant.
And now to the outfit. How amazing is this Ganni dress?! Not only the print but also the layered and slightly see-through look of it. It was definitely love at first sight and teamed with a pair of Stan Smiths it works perfectly for a day in the city.
