‘WHAT I’M WEARING’

Paris finally showed itself from a sunnier side today and I welcomed it in my most colourful outfit (but toned down with a light grey) and went to Place Vendôme to meet with both Valentino and Chanel before I took the train back to London.

When the invite reads Valentino and you’ve got a beautiful skirt like this to wear, that’s what you do. Apparently I can’t get enough of pink at the moment and this skirt is another pink perfection coming from Whistles. Paris may be the city of lights but definitely not of sunshine (these days) so I left the matching cropped silk shirt at the hotel and teamed the skirt with a cropped black knit and an old favourite, the until-death-do-us-part Acne leatherjacket.
I’ve been out and about in Paris shooting closets for Luelle with my partner-in-crime (that’s Funda) most of today. One of them being the gorgeous Brazilian blogger Helena Bordon, who brought along a small part of her amazing wardrobe to Paris. Can’t wait to share it with you – let me just say, I wanted to move in.
You know how there’s always some pieces that constantly find its way to your wardrobe in new versions – season after season. One of my guilty pleasures is definitely the bikerjacket and the latest addition to my selection is this number from Baum und Pferdgarten. Oversized and simple but with some stand-out details (we’re talking sleeves here) that makes it truly perfect.
This morning I headed to the AW14 presentation of Pollini by Nicholas Kirkwood at the beautiful Hôtel Le Bristol. I’ve got lot of pictures of the most amazing shoes and bags to show to you but first today’s outfit – shot in the hotel’s garden by the very stylish gentleman Matthew. Later on I went to see Vanessa Bruno’s show at Grand Palais and then dinner with friends at the lovely Hotel du Nord (any place that has mashed potatoes on the menu is a place after my heart).
Last night I went to the H&M Studio show at the Grand Palais in Paris. It was such an amazing show and I can’t wait for the re-see in a few hours from now. Always great to see the styles and fabrics up-close. Make sure to follow all the fashion week action on Instagram.
This is what I was wearing.
