THE HOLDABLE BUMBAG

14/11/02 - 11:20

I’ve never been a big fan of bumbags but thanks to Céline it’s now among the top things that I wish for. For the Spring 2015-collection (in stores by the end of this year) Céline created the perfect minimalist bumbag that looks just as good (or even better) when carried by hands. The coolest bumbag in town will become yours for £1100 and you can choose between black, burgundy and white. Let the savings begin.

It looks like everybody’s favorite type of sandal will stay around for another season – that is if you take a cue from Isabel Marant (and who doesn’t). The new resort 2015 lookbook just hit my inbox and I love the more minimal and tailored looks the coming collection offers.

Coming to a store near you by the end of the year.

THE SINGLE EARRING

14/08/15 - 03:38

If there’s one jewelry trend not to miss out on this season, it’s the single earring. And the bigger the better. Louis Vuitton surely did the best ones for Autumn and as per usual the high street are quickly to follow in the footsteps. If your finances doesn’t allow you to treat yourself with the real deal (left) then Zara (right) lets  you tap into the trend on a budget.

HOOPS!

13/01/26 - 07:46

hoops

ADMITTED. I never thought I would wear hoops again. That was until Balmain decided to bring them back in fashion – and I suddenly forgot everything about Jennifer Lopez and late night pictures of myself 10 years ago. The hoops are back and when you can’t afford the real deal (in this case Balmain) the highstreet is there to help. I stopped by H&M the other day and got my hands on these ones. At least now I know what to wear in my ears for fashion week in Stockholm next week. Now I just need to figure out the rest… Gah.

Some dark-toned plasters, tights, a few foundations: the provisions the fashion world makes for people of color still have a long way to go. Today is not an ordinary day, its’ Air Max Day. When Nike first released the Air Max 1 on March 26, 1987, it’s safe to say they released a revolution. Although Nike had been placing air cushioning into its shoes since 1979, it wasn’t until 1987 that it made this technology large and visible enough for […]

The road trip – fictional or otherwise – has fuelled the imagination of some of the most influential figures in literature, film, art and music. Consider Tom Wolfe’s epic 1966 novel The Electric Kool-Aid Acid Test, which details a psychedelic, acid-enhanced journey through America on a customised school bus; or more recently, Alexander Payne’s dark comedy Nebraska (2013), […]
