wakakuu

Here I was thinking that this Rag & Bone sweater was long gone – and then I stopped by Wakakuu earlier tonight and voila! The best sweater of the season if you ask me. I was about to buy it when I decided to take a look at the rest of the offerings at Wakakuu and suddenly my wishlist grew very long leaving me confused about what I want (and need the most). Some help, please?

Gorgeous selection! I'm no good cook and I have no particular skill in that matter, but I couldn't find a better way to describe today's outfit than to use a food style language! Here's the modus operandi to recreate the same look, full of layering! Take a nice leo print on a neoprene fabric, seasonal flowers (for the skirt), attach a cropped window pane sweater, a distressed denim waistcoat to recall the colour of the flowers, tie the lot with a lace shirt, add a pinch of dots on the tights and glitter on the socks, customize your old brogues with zebra print laces and emulsify the whole! I'm embracing the exact opposite of what Coco Chanel recommended: that is always remove something from one's outfit before going out...

The beautiful jewelry from Maria Nilsdotter really came to life at the Royal Armoury. Housed in the spectacular and beautiful cellar vaults of the Royal Palace it really sets a mood. Key makeup artist Sophia Eriksen/Hallundgren did an amazing and effectual look with golden freckles. Her is what she told me about the look: “ […]

Around the runways you could see familiar faces as Anine Bing, Jonna Bergh, Niklas Berglind and Sofie Farhman. Filippa K Woman and Man collection took us […]

Models dancing in over a sea of confetti, models entering a dystopian world of huge mushrooms – or simply walking over the runway Stockholm has something for all tastes. Here are the highlights from the second day of Fashion Week in Stockholm.   By the No By the No sent out dancers, sweeping in groups over […]

Stockholm Fashion Week started for me, not with a bang, but with a conceptual, interactive, fashion/art show (because, what else?). Amaze is an artistic fashion show running its second year and consisting of a small number of younger, up-and-coming designers. This year it featured new collections from Per Götesson, Amanda Gerell, Minna Palmqvist, Daimorf , […]

At the first day at Stockholm Fashion Week off the runway, the celebrities’ brawled in before everyone els, the Street Style photographers were scooting big hats and the alternative color mafia shined out the signature Scandinavian minimalistic, not to mention sport-fashion brand Björn Borg who took the fashion industry to Långholmen in Stockholm to witness […]

First show out on Stockholm Fashion Week SS16 was Ida Sjöstedt, a personal favorite of mine. It is always a pleasure dreaming away in the girly, bubbly world of Ida. Today was no exception, I loved this collection, I actually think it might be her best on yet! Romantic and flowery but she also brought […]

The first day of Stockholm Fashion Week has brought to us a variety of styles to choose from and we have selected a few of the most important creations. The 70’s is a clear source of inspiration, and just like on Copenhagen Fashion Week, the colors to choose are mostly white, black and red. Ida Sjöstedt […]
