I love this autumn’s shade of orange, which has a really cool retro-feeling. Come live with me…

CARVEN SS12

11/09/29 - 08:57 - In: INSPIRATION

I love when the fashion week hits Paris where most of my favourite designers are showing. Carven is for sure one of them. It’s wearable, affordable (almost) and I love the girly quirkyness, which characterizes the French house. The ss12 collection is colorful and with classic Carven-pieces like the highwaisted shorts, the collars and the cutouts. Nothing new, but very pretty and very chic. I especially love the bottom look with the cropped top and the pencilskirt. Gorgeous.

THE COS WEBSHOP IS OPEN

11/09/29 - 02:37 - In: SHOPPING

I’m so happy! COS has finally opened a webshop. It didn’t even take a week from we heard the rumors till it opened. Never again will I have to miss out on COS pieces just because I moved to Los Angeles. Well, it could be better as they’re only shipping within Europe, but luckily I have a very sweet mom, who I’m sure would love to send me my COS-fix (right, mom?). I’ve already placed my first order… I’m sure you’re about to do the same in a minute.

Visit the webshop right HERE.

If you’re in Copenhagen tonight do make sure to visit COS, where you’ll get a 15% discount all night. COSTUME is once again hosting Fashion After Dark, which was a huge success last year. This year even more shops are participating and I’m sure it’ll be an absolutely amazing shopping night! I’m really sad that I won’t be able to join the fun, but I hope you’ll all have a great night. Find out all about Fashion After Dark in the guide that Costume has made. You’ll find it HERE. I would make sure to visit Georg Jensen (be there at 6pm), Mulberry (concert at 8pm), Line & Jo (10% discount + pizza&beer), Baum und Pferdgarten (20% discount), Apartment no7 (20% discount), Stig P (25% discount on selected pieces) and The Lot, where my former colleagues from COSTUME will be. I miss them so much.

DRIES VAN NOTEN SS12

11/09/29 - 01:36 - In: INSPIRATION

One of my friends just texted me: “OMFG. Check Dries van Noten. You’re gonna fucking love it. It’s so beautiful.” And he’s absolutely right. I’m in love. Amazing prints, silhuettes, colors and accessories. Instant cravings are the short grey/black jacket, the sunglasses (all of them) and the two bottom looks with strappy sandals, slim pants and voluminous dresses.

Just like Lotte I’ve also got my hands on the lace skirt from Zara – though I settled for the blue one. I have been waiting for it to hit the stores for what feels like a long long time. It’s perfect. Or almost – I would prefer it without the golden zipper at the back (luckily it’s short). Not a fan. I prefer it to be silver or even better – hidden.

Beckmans x Carin Wester  A Film by Karin Bellander, Veronika Larsson and Sara Rutberg. “Our two characters share the space through a split screen. They are both occupied with a search after something undefined, which they are carrying out in their own personal way. In the beginning you only get a cropped version of their presence, since the […]

Make-up wise there where few surprises at London Fashion Week, the no-make-up trend with a 90’s twist was big here too. Luckily there are always shows that stands out a little extra and this season the once I picked out all had something in common, black details! Giles Fall 2015 At Giles Fall 2015 the girls looked […]

Staffan Lindström (MIKAs) is a model based in Stockholm. He has worked with Filippa K Man, Gucci, Hermès and Givenchy, Dries Van Noten just to name a few. We wanted to get to know the person behind the photos and off the catwalk and therefore we asked him 6 quick questions. Let us present the […]

Beckmans x Filippa K A Film by William Hesseldahl, Stephanie Abdullah and Maximillian George. “The story is told by cross-cutting between two different locations at different points in time. Now that Milan Fashion Week is over, we wanted to list the most memorable looks from the shows. Dresses, jackets and headphones – take a look and let the jaw drop! This patchwork fur coat from Salvatore Ferragamo definitely cached our eyes. Speaking of patchwork fur coats.. Here’s one in from MSGM.  Are we the only ones […]

Oh, Dolce & Gabbana how I love how the two of you portrait mothers! Because that is what Dolce & Gabbana Fall 2015 was, a celebration to mothers. Classy, sexy, elegant and very feminine mothers. A winged eyeliner and red lips a messy undo with hair accessories. We have seen it before but it never […]

Missoni followed the stream this season and did as all of the big names – aimed for the seventies. While the others took inspiration from the fashion, Missoni Fall 2015 really reminded us of the interior colors and the retro furniture. The colors looked like they were taken straight from a sofa in a retro […]

Did you know that coconut oil is anti-viral and anti-fungal? That is actually supports healthy metabolism and promotes weight loss? I knew that, but I didn’t know it is because of 3 fatty acids Caprylic Acid, Capric Acid and Lauric Acid. And I didn’t know that our body converts lauric acid into monolaurin that can […]

Alberta Ferretti Fall 2015 made an extended version of Wednesday in The Addams Family. Girly yet not girly. Imagine her in her early twenties, just discovered Dracula red and playing with lace details. The collection over all felt old-fashioned in a good way. A cocky side of the 18th century. The common thing were the thigh-high […]
